Before reading this article, you should know how to 🔎 Clock in with Timer: start, end and breaks
⚠️ If you have requested remote work and it has been approved, that only gives you the possibility to clock in remote work. In addition to that, you must log in remote work, as explained in this article.
If you have remote work enabled, to the left of the ▶️ Start work button you will see two icons:
- 🏢 A building, which is always selected by default and represents “the office” or on-site work.
- 🏠A little house, representing remote work.
For time entry to count as remote work, you must first select the house icon (🏠) and then ▶️ Start work
How to know if I am logging it correctly?
While the time is running, the selected icon appears next to the time counter.
In addition, when hovering over it, the text At the office or Remote work will appear:
⚠️ You cannot modify it from here. If you have not selected the desired icon, you will have to Finish the timer and re-start it.
Once the timer has finished, you can see it in My timesheet:
If you have permission, you can also edit the time entry and select a different icon. You could
also request an entry modification, if your company has it enabled.
